Part of the Unsorted Sermons series, preached at a Communion Meditation service.
Psalm 45 describes the very enemies that are slain by the weapons of Christ's warfare in verses 1-7 as becoming His friends and bride in the last half of the Psalm. This powerful juxtaposition of being slain by Christ and being embraced by Him is the thought of a poem that Charles Spurgeon composed. This poem exegetes the heart of my message better than I can.
